If you are interested in calling one of the 20 homes on Steepleview Drive in Glenview home you will need to get on our Priority List. The demand has proven the need for this list, and we want to be open and transparent from the start.

Priority List Buyers will be notified IN THE ORDER you are on the list, as homes become for sale. Please be clear about the process before making your deposit to be on the list. Joe P. is happy to talk to you so you are thoroughly informed of how buying in Glenview will work.

What You Need To Do:

The Basics:

Cost to be on list (applied to purchase): $1500

The Process:

  1. Make your deposit and get your position in line secured. All funds will be held in escrow until one of the following things occurs:
    • You choose one of the houses offered to you and you purchase it. At that point, your fees paid will become non-refundable earnest money to be brought to the closing by the listing broker and applied to your home purchase.
    • The builder fails to offer you a home to purchase and you are on the priority list.
    • If you specifically request a home with a master on main, a basement, or both, and a home with these elements is not offered to you for purchase.
  2. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your priority list fee is not refundable if you change your mind and decide you no longer want to purchase a home at Glenview. If you pass on all the homes, you will not be refunded
  3. Once you’ve gotten your spot on the priority list, you will then be added to our mailing list if you are not on it already, so you can follow our progress and be updated on critical or timely information associated with Glenview. Read these emails! Your information will only be used to contact you regarding Glenview.
  4. Homes will be released for purchase when they are approximately 30 days from completion. Buyers will be notified of the homes for sale IN ORDER THE THEY ARE ON THE PRIORITY LIST. If you choose to pass on that home, then that home will be offered to the next person on the priority list, and so on. You will maintain your spot on the priority list for the next home/group of homes presented for sale. You do not lose your spot on the list for passing on a home.
  5. If you are presented with a home to consider and you choose to buy it, we will ?ill out a purchase and sale agreement and get you under contract and begin the closing process. You will be required to close on the purchase within 45 days of the binding agreement date.
  6. Any homes not claimed by anyone on the priority list will then be offered to those on our priority waiting list and then offered to the broad market by being listed in the Athens Area Association of Realtors’ MLS. We don’t expect that to happen.

Frequently Asked Questions:

You will be placed on a prioritized waiting list and you will immediately be notified if a space on the priority list opens up. We will only collect a fee check from you if you get on a priority list.
